About the artist

My name is Mihai and I am a self-taught artist based in The Netherlands. I love to paint and I hope my paintings bring you joy, beauty and wisdom, as an antidote to our culture of indignation, stupefaction and outrage. Without emotion there is no beauty.

I draw most of my inspiration from the works of Sesshu Toyo and Edward Hopper. I work primarily with acrylic paints, constantly experimenting with various techniques.
